If you are not satisfied and you have purchased your subscription in the past week, send an email to [email protected].

Let us know that you would like to get a refund and specify which email address you used for the account you created with us. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your credit card.

No, this is specified in our terms and conditions. You may, however, cancel your subscription so that you do not get charged the upcoming monthly or yearly fee.

You can update those in by clicking on “Profile” in the main menu, then click on “Edit Profile”.

You can cancel or pause your membership at any time:

  • Click on “Profile” in the main menu
  • Then click on the “Membership” tab
  • Click on “Subscriptions”
  • Click on “Pause” or “Cancel”

Whether you pause or cancel your subscription, your credit card will not be charged for the upcoming monthly or yearly fee. If you want to be able to resume your subscription in the future you should consider pausing your subscription, and not cancel it.

After cancelling your account, you will be able to access the tutorials until the last day of your billing cycle, and you will not receive a refund for the current month or year. For example, if your billing was on the 22nd of every month, and you chose to cancel your subscription on the 12th, you will have access to Barefoot Surf Tutorials through the 21st.

If you want to subscribe and have access to the tutorials once again with the monthly membership, you will need to pay the subscription fee once again.

On our home page, proceed as if you were going to log in and click on the “forgot password?” link on top of the “log in” button. You will be able to enter your email and get a verification link sent to your inbox.

To update your credit card, 

  • Click on “Profile” in the main menu
  • Then click on the “Membership” tab
  • Click on “Subscriptions”
  • Click on “Update credit card”
  • Enter your new CC details

If you would like to make the switch from a monthly to a yearly plan to get a better deal, you can do so:

  • Click on “Profile” in the main menu
  • Then click on the “Membership” tab
  • Click on “Subscriptions”
  • Click on “Change Plan”
  • Select the Yearly Plan and proceed to checkout



You can access our content on your phone, tablet and laptop, as the platform is fully responsive.

You can watch your tutorials on nearly any device:

  • Desktop, laptop, tablet or phone

Additionally, you can watch your content on your TV by:

  • Linking your iPhone phone or Mac computer using Airplay with Apple TV 
  • Using an HDMI cord to connect a computer or laptop to your TV

Over the years, we have gained significant knowledge on how surfers progress, what are the key techniques they need to learn, what are the most common mistakes, how to fix them, etc.

Originally, we had designed our tutorials to help the hundreds of beginner & intermediate surfers that join our coaching retreats. They are specifically designed for the types of surfers that join our retreats, which are: 

  • Surfers that never surfed before or tried only a few times
  • Surfers that are starting to catch & surf unbroken waves by themselves
  • Surfers that can consistently angle their take off & ride the shoulder 
  • Surfers that are working on manoeuvres like cutbacks, floaters, snaps, etc. 
  • You cannot be “too much of a beginner” to benefit from our tutorials. They are built specifically for beginner and intermediate surfers (including ones that have never tried surfing before).
  • You can be too advanced for our tutorials. At the moment we do not have advanced tutorials, for example, how to get barrelled, how to do airs, etc.

This is not possible. We only offer the following options:

  • Access 4 specific tutorials (take off, catch green waves, surf ethics & duck dive) with a free sign up
  • Access all our surf content with either a monthly or yearly membership

Our platform has a limit of 3 devices per user. 

If, for example, you are connected on your phone, tablet and desktop and you then connect on another device, it will log out one of those other devices automatically.

We recommend not sharing your password with anybody, as this could limit your access to your account. If someone else has access to your account and keeps logging you out, we recommend changing your password so that you may be the only person that is able to log in to your account.

You will get access to all our surf tutorials, key elements, quizzes, forums, Q&A’s plus any new content that we create, as long as you stay subscribed.


Our prices are in USD (United States Dollars)

No, we do not offer discounts or coupons for our subscriptions. We do offer the possibility to subtract your first payment (for a monthly or yearly subscription) on one of our surf coaching retreats.

Monthly membership:

If you chose the monthly membership, you be billed a one-time sign-up fee of 40$, plus 15$ for the first month, and then 15$ monthly. This means that the day you subscribe, you will pay 55$ (a 40$ sign-up fee, plus 15$ for your first month of subscription).

The subscription payment will recur once every month on the same day as your first payment. For example, if you join us on the 9th of the month, your auto-renewal charge will remain on the 9th for each subsequent billing.

Annual membership:

On the day you subscribe, you will be charged 108$ and have access to our platform for 1 year.

If for example you subscribed on August 10th 2019, your auto-renewal date will be on August 10th 2020. On the auto-renewal date, you will be charged 108$ again for a one-year subscription.

No it won’t.

We constantly invest in improving our platform with new content and tools that help subscribers surf better.

Therefore, we do sometimes raise our subscription prices. Only “new” subscriptions will be affected by the price rise. If you have initially purchased a subscription for “X” dollars per month, you will continue paying the same “X” dollars per month, even though prices shown on the website are higher than what you currently pay.

However, if you cancel your subscription and decide to re-subscribe again, it will be at the new, updated price.
