Unfortunately, just swimming or paddling doesn’t seem to be sufficient for me to build up the paddling endurance I need, especially in rough conditions. I’ve been surfing three times a week and my shoulders still get tired.
I’ve recently started using a new exercise, called YTW, which I’ve seen a few surf coaches recommend on YouTube. It seems to be helping with my shoulder endurance.
I’m enjoying the course content and it goes into much more depth than other resources I’ve tried. Are you intending to add to the content in future?
As well as more content about surfing in the sea, I would be interested in exercises we could do out of the water to improve surfing fitness and surfing ability.
